You can say Da Xue (The GreatLearning) is the spirit soil of the China’s cultural, for our entire nation and country, as well as the value ofeach individual are unusual. At present, China is in the new period of social transition, the school in themoral education aspect has made certain development, the value of Ideological and moral and themainstream is healthy, but in the new situation, facing the social effects of different value systems and thewestern culture, the school moral education work is faced with many difficulties, problems continue toappear. Therefore, this article will carry on the deep discussion and Research on "moral education" in theDa Xue (The Great Learning) and its value in the present moral education in schools.In order to realize the contemporary value of Da Xue (The Great Learning) moral education thought,First of all, you must to explain the theory of Da Xue (The Great Learning), grasp the main ideas of moraleducation. the book as the goal and method of self-cultivation in the aspects such as investigation of things,extension of knowledge, sincerity, righteousness, self-cultivation, family regulation, state affairsmanagement, and world peace. All should be well preserved as invaluable in China. The value system ofDa Xue is framed with three programmers and eight catalogues, and sets concretely man’s life road.Secondly, with the excellent traditional culture classics, we analyzed by objective comprehensive view, seeits positive significance at the same time, we must face up to its limitations, its essence to its dregs. Finally,by revealing the main problems existing in current school moral education, points out the necessity of"inheritance" university moral education thought. It puts forward raising students Moral characters throughstudying the theory of cultivating self of the Da Xue (The Great Learning), making use of moral principlesto improve the Moral Education, and to set up modern Moral Education mode.
