A Study On Training College Students’ Consciousness Of Ecological Responsibility

The18th National Congress of the CPC proposes to vigorously promote the construction of ecological civilization and ecological responsibility and to build a beautiful China.With the social economy continuing to move forward, the ecological environment is becoming deteriorated, and the crisis of the ecology has become a hot issue. And the top priority of the government is to solve the ecological crisis, to improve the natural environment and to harmonize the relationship between the human beings.College students’consciousness of ecological responsibility is a stable sense of moral responsibility, which will guide people how to response to the ecological problems. Only if we have strong sense of ecological responsibility, we may have a profound understanding about the relationship between the human and nature. With increasing understanding about the ecology, people will accordingly take measures into action to deal with the ecological problems. As a pioneer of the era, the future builders and successors of the society, the contemporary college students shoulder the significant mission to make our country more beautiful. Since the level of their consciousness in ecology responsibility is directly related to the sustainable development of the society, training their consciousness in ecological responsibility is the need of the construction of ecological civilization.This paper, by empirical investigation, surveys and investigates some current Guangxi college students’consciousness in the ecological responsibility. With the first-hand information, detail analysis about the college students’consciousness of ecological responsibility has been made. And the result shows that the mainstream of their ecological consciousness is good and they are possessed with a certain sense of ecological responsibility, with a good cognitive basis on the awareness of ecological responsibility and some ecological responsibility behavior and strong will. However, there are still some major problems:students knows little about ecological responsibility, and they are short of environmental participation and lack initiative spirits; some students do not take measures of environment responsibility into action though they seems willing to help; students’motivation of protecting ecological environment is iften based on their interests and thus they do not form a concept of big eclogical environment with a weak sense of responsibility, and their conception is typical of ecological responsibility awareness of dualistic struction. And the paper will analyze the reasons of these problems, and will discuss the path about how to train the college students’consciousness of ecology responsibility; by referring to the national and international studies on individual education and relevant responsibility education theories, the training strategies of college students’consciousness of ecological responsibility in the discourse domain will also be studied, and the possible solutions to the problems in the discourse domain will be suggested.This thesis is divided into eight parts.The first part is the introduction, including the reason of selecting the topic, the purpose and significance of the study, the domain of the study problems and the the research methods.The second part is the definition of the concept and literature review.The third part analyzes the statistical research results. By making questionnaire survey, as far as the connotation of the ecological responsibility consciousness is concerned, we will learn about the the current students’cognition about the ecology, their consciousness and its training strategies of ecological responsibility come to have a data statistics and analysis. By doing so, we will further have a better understanding of the college students’consciousness of ecological responsibility.The forth part will discuss the reasons of college students’lack of consciousness in ecological responsibility. Based on the current college students’consciousness in ecological responsibility, detail analysis will be made about the causes of the students’shortage of the ecological responsibility consciousness from the four aspects of how to behave in society, at school, at home and by themselves.The fifth part is college students assume the role of ecological responsibility.The sixth part will make clear the general tasks of training the contemporary college students’consciousness in ecological responsibility, to conform to the general rules of training the contemporary college students’consciousness in ecological responsibility.The seventh part will make an analysis on the training path of the college students’ consciousness in ecological responsibility. Based on the current college students’consciousness in ecological responsibility theories and empirical study, referencing the national and international theoretical studies on citizens’education and responsibility, the training strategies of students’consciousness in ecological responsibility will be discussed. The strategies are to improve the path of training the contemporary college students’consciousness in ecological responsibility, to optimize the conditions of training the contemporary college students’ consciousness in ecological responsibility,to deepen practice,strengthen the ecological responsibility consciousness. These three aspects aim at improve the the contemporary college students’consciousness in ecological responsibility. From the perspective of the society, this part will mainly discuss the path of training the contemporary college students’consciousness in ecological responsibility, and the benefits of improving the contemporary college students’ consciousness in ecological responsibility.The last part is conclusion. By synthesizing and inducing the whole thesis, the research limitations and the prospect of the further study will be pointed out.In sum, hopefully, by the full cooperation of different aspects, the study result of this paper, extending the strategies of the actions of ecological responsibility, to some extent, will raise the college students’concern on the environmental issue, and will help them to establish positive and proper value and to improve their consciousness of ecological responsibility and to take measures into action to protect the environment, will promote the college students to develop more freely and fully. In the meantime, the paper puts forward some advice and suggestion on the construction of ecological civilization in our country.
