Masculinity is a part of human nature which is formed and established constantly through the process of practice. Masculinity is not unalterable but can be changed by the influence of time, environment and locations. For a long time, male have dominated the status in both family and social. This means masculinity affects both the male himself and more importantly for each family.As the blossom of modern society ideology there do exist significant change within the range of traditional gender division of labor. The old fashioned way as saying" men played the key role in the society while women were confined to the family chores" is no longer suitable now. For those families which inherit and applying the old type gender roles rules more and more criticize and desolate was given to them. On the contrary more females choose to establish their own career at the same time more male begin to pay more attention on their family roles.This paper focused on the participation from male himself in the family life with the purpose of finding out the common ground and distinguish among different generations through it hopefully we can uncover the causes for these changes. By doing that, we will have a comprehensive view of this society. This paper adopted the methods of interviewing and comparing the different areas among family status, house hold duties and fatherhood. Though this paper we will have the final conclusion on masculinity.
