With the development of occupation education of policy guiding and promoting,especially in the new century,our secondary vocational education presents the gooddevelopment state as the reform and opening policy deepen. During the12th Five YearPlan period, to establish a modern occupation education system is the new needs of thedevelopment of modernization in our country. The "big eighteen" meeting requires usto build a well-off society in an all-round way in2020. To build a well-off society in anall-round way, we must train a large number of talents. As the mainstay of vocationaleducation, we have to face the difficult situation, meanwhile, we own lots ofopportunities. However, Secondary vocational education is not fully connected with thelocal economy development in some rural area in Sichuan Province, so the results arenot good. The function of main body of secondary vocational education plays a limitedrole. Although the conditions are growing better and better, some unforeseen situationstill exists in all fields. Students wander between vocational schools and ordinaryschools. Because of some unstable phenomenon in some field, even though somestudents attend vocational schools, the existence of vocational education and thedevelopment of regional economy are restricted. How to reduce the loss rate ofsecondary vocational school students and let the secondary vocational education play anactive role in local community. In order to keep the secondary vocationaleducation healthy and sustainable development, and put the positive energy into thedevelopment of local economy, analyzing, surveying and studying deeply about thisproblem have important significance.In this paper, the author investigate and visit some rural secondary vocationalschools in order to find out the present situation of rural secondary vocational schoolsin Sichuan Province and the present situation of the loss of secondary vocational. On thebasis of the analysis of the causes of the loss, the author put forward how to reduce theloss of students in vocational schools, so that we can find out some strategies for thelocal regional economic services. The paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction, in which the author introduce the researchquestions, the research significance, the research situation at home and abroad, alsodefine the basic concepts. The author also introduce how to control the loss rate ofsecondary vocational school and how to serve the local regional economy. The author use the investigation method, interview method and some other different researchmethods, such as determining the object of study, collecting relevant information,studying periodic and comprehensive research, and finally form the research ideas forthe paper.As for the second part, the author state the relationship of the present situation oflocal economy and the development of occupation education. The local presenteconomy situation is made up of three aspects: the basic situation\, the local economyand education, the basic economy. The author also state the interaction and influenceof the development of occupation education and local economy, including the need oflocal economy and occupation education, the shortcoming of promoting in localeconomy and occupation education.As for the third part, the author state the investigation of loss present situation fromthe view of local economy. For example: Dazhu County vocational middle school, theauthor analyze the present situation and feature of the loss, study the cause of the loss,and explore deeply the relationship of the loss and local economy from three aspects.As for the fourth part, to control the loss rate of secondary vocational schoolstudents, the author state the basic countermeasure in order to base on thedevelopment of regional economy from the following aspects: the coordination of theadministration and competent department to establish regional vocational educationmanagement system; the corresponding service system and accelerate the adjustment ofthe profession; combination of production and study; training the quality andreasonable structure of skilled talents.
