| China is a multi-ethnic country since ancient times, after establishing ofnew China; there are a total of55ethnic minority, and han ethnic group,formed by the set up of56nationalities of the People’s Republic of China.Asthe constant improvement of China’s various undertakings and progress, theethnic members have so many chances to get on well with each other. So theywill face the different from their own national culture, custom, languages.Religion, etc. the different ethnic members show the different attitude andbehavior, which involves ethnic identity. At the same time college students asthe future of country’s development, they still effectively guarantee thenational prosperity, theirs ethnic identity status directly affect the futureworking, studying and the national unity and stability of the country.As the development of our country, Inner Mongolia region’s Mongoliastudents and han students’ethnic identity is also changing. Mongolia studentsand han students are a large and sensitive group, their ethnic identity willdirectly affect the development of the future national, policies and regulations.In this paper, ethnic identity is divided into cognition, emotion, evaluation andbehavior to analyze, understand the four dimensions. In this research, itincludes four colleges: Inner Mongolia University, Inner Mongoliaagricultural university, Hohhot Nation College, Inner Mongolia normaluniversity. There are674Mongolian college students and699han nationalitycollege students questionnaire investigation. In this study using varianceanalysis, correlation analysis and other statistical methods to analyze data. Atthe same time to explore the influence factors of ethnic identity, in order toconsolidate ethnic identity, the research is also including civic education.All in all, Mongolian college students and han nationality collegestudents’ethnic identity are so good. When comparing the two kinds ofstudents’ethnic identity, there is no bigger difference. When exploring the factors affecting college students’national identity, the results are showed thatparents level of education, family language, mainstream culture, the numberof friends, living environment are the main influencing factor.The citizenship education respectively is coupled with nationaldevelopment present situation, the national traditional culture and socialistcore value system, which could regulate the behavior of Mongolian studentsand han nationality college students’ideology, moral quality and behaviors.Finally they could have the national spirit with patriotism. |
