The ideological and political education has inner link with university library culture, as the ideological education, it embodies the cultural implication.Ideological and political education function of university library culture help students form the values which is consistent with the socialist modernization and encourage their enthusiasm of collectivism and patriotism.It also cultivate their good ideological and political quality and improve the pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.University library culture contains very rich content, this thesis mainly discuss the spirit of university library culture, system culture, environmental culture and the ideological and political education function of Internet culture.However, the university library of the influence of culture comes across severe challenges because of many factors, the full play of function of ideological and the political education needs to be further strengthened.The text is based on1000college students in nanning five universities, the educational function of university library spirit culture, system culture of the influence of the constraint function, environment, culture and the development of network culture play important role in the questionnaires and interviews.In a preliminary understanding of ideological and political education function of university library culture after the basic situation,the text combined with relevant data and statistics data,and then make a conclusion that the current university library culture on ideological and political education function has obtained certain achievements after careful study and analysis,but in value orientation, publicity, management, web development, there are some shortcomings.According to the existing problems,the factors which affect ideological and political education function of university library culture is analyzed, and based on this,giving full play to the ideological and political education function of university library culture should follow the "one center, four focus" principle, the function of ideological and political education of university library culture exert to adhere to the guiding ideology of people-oriented and lead to the socialist core value system as the center, and to continuously strengthen the educational function of spiritual culture,and perfect the function of institutional culture constraints, and optimize environment culture,as well as deepen the development of the Internet culture to focus.Based on our library’s conditions, the ideological and political education function should be multidimensionally developed,in order to improve college students’ ideological and political quality of the service.
