People have given prominence to the ecologically sustainable development because ofthe deteriorating ecological environment and increasingly serious energy crisis. Based on theconstruction of ecological civilization, the “green education” is a theoretical and pragmaticresearch project. On the one hand, it enriches the education theory and promotes the disciplineconstruction. On the other hand, it deepens the reform of educational system in our countryand boots the implementation and development of “green education” to its full extent.Thestudy object of this article is targeted at Northeast Normal University and Liaoning NormalUniversity. The results shows that:(1) Liaoning normal University has10undergraduate public elective green educationcourses, accounting for6.37%of the total number. It involves7undergraduate majors,accounting for9.34%, including75.5credits and1220hours. The postgraduates have8majors relating to the green education, accounting for2.34%. The doctoral candidates have3research directions involving green education, accounting for5.56%.(2) Higher normal University has13undergraduate public elective green educationcourses, accounting for8.15%of the total number. It involves3undergraduate majors,accounting for2.18%.The doctoral candidates have3research directions involving greeneducation, accounting for5.36%.(3)Liaoning normal university, green education practice is given priority to with clubactivities, around the theme of environmental protection and green education carried outactivities of the community a total of13,12.75%of the entire school community. Highernormal university green action mainly through the school of education practice green powerenvironmental protection volunteer association, lead students into the community, took to thestreets, to the spread of green ideal and green culture.(4) The comprehensive evaluation of the environmental awareness of Higher NormalUniversity students is7.60. The comprehensive evaluation of environmental knowledge andenvironmental attitude is higher than others, but environmental behavior is too low. Thestudents have environmental knowledge, but less acting.
