| Li Na reached a peak of her career from the year of2011to2013. Her WTA ranking upgraded from11th to3rd during that period. First, from the beginning of the year of2011Australian Open historically went into finals and ultimately lost to Kim Clijsters. After the Australian Open Li Na’s performance slumped, continuously participating in several races and getting eliminated in early round. From the beginning of May through the guidance of new coach Mortensen and adjusted her own state, completely broke Li’s status after entering the red clay court season. Before the French Open Li Na came to the semi-finals respectively in the Madrid Open and the Italian QNL international tournament. And finally in the French Open, she got the champion and became the first Chinese and Asian woman player to win a Grand Slam.She made her name branded and memorized in the tennis world. However, after the U.S. Open, Li Na’s performance declined again, and her collaboration with Mortensen also broke up. From early2012to August2012, Li Na could not get out of the slump. Among the Grand Slam that Li participated, the Australian Open and French Open did not come into the Quarter-finals, and stopped his step in the second round of Wimbledon, and the third round of U.S. Open. Until August2012under the guidance of coach Carlos, Li Na was completely activated. This article is a longitudinal research on the her technical and tactical aspect.This article used video observation statistics, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis, literature method to analyze the technical and tactical aspect of her game in the period of2011-2013, and draws the following conclusions:1、In this period, Li’s first serve first inclined to inner corners, then the outer corner, and finally sent to the middle. Li’s second serve inclined to inside corner to the ensure safety that avoid double faults in the game, followed by the outer corner, and finally the inside corner. 2、Usage of the technical at this period shows little difference, basically played his technical style. In the relatively high usage touchdown technique, in two different periods Li,her forehand and backhand baseline stroke is very stable.3、At this period Li’s return serves of flat serve, serve of top side spin, side spin serve, her first option is to smash the ball, we can see the importance of this kind of return serve.The second option is stroking. This reversed the ball way back in the ball game Li Na has not been use before.4、In this period, among Li Na’s return serve route, fought back in the flat partition forehand and backhand small comeback slash and the highest proportion in the preemption area forehand and backhand slash the highest proportion of small comeback.
