Study On The Effects Of Defensive Tactics That The Taiyuan University Of Technology Basketball Team Applied In The13Th And14Th Cuba

Focused on basketball defensive tactics and based on the12game videos and16defending indexes of Taiyuan University of Technology Basketball team, this paper mainly analyzes the effects of different defensive tactics that the team has applied. Also success rates of defensive tactics in each stages and different moments are discussed in this paper. According to the analysis, this paper aims to reveal reasons that Taiyuan University of Technology Basketball team has maintained its leading role for years. Combining the general landscape of university basketball teams applying defensive tactics, this paper discusses the way of applying defensive tactics in order to improve the quality of basketball games and bring team performances up to a higher level.Literature reviews, video observation and comparisons have been applied in this paper for analyzing different defensive tactics that Taiyuan University of Technology Basketball team has applied. And conclusions are drawn as follows:1. A wide variety of defensive tactics have been applied by the basketball team with flexible combinations. On the application of defensive tactics, the basketball team usually chooses zonal marking and man-marking as their main tactics with comprehensive and combination defenses as alternatives. From the perspective of defending success rates, comprehensive defense works best, followed by man-marking, combination defense and zonal marking. Given defensive effects, comprehensive defense takes the first place, followed by combination defense, man-marking and zonal marking. Man-to-man defense works best in zonal marking with high success rates. It plays an important role in getting more points or changing defensive tactics.2. If we make a comparison between time of applying each defensive tactics, applying frequency and defensive effects, we will figure out that the less we use a defensive tactic, the better effects we will get. And defensive tactics can be applied at a sudden, which indicates that there exists no equivalent relationship between application frequency and working performance.3. As the main defensive tactics applied by Taiyuan University of Technology Basketball team, zonal marking and man-to-man marking work best. Highly aggressive man-to-man marking used in a sudden help the team get more points or change the game results.4. On the overall tactical layout, zonal marking and man-to-man marking are mainly used by the basketball team in the first five rounds at the beginning of the game. Within the last two minutes, half-court man-marking defense tactics is applied more than zonal defense or other tactics. In all quarters applying defensive tactics, the basketball team usually gets the highest defending success rates on2nd quarter. And full-court man-to-man marking works best than the other tactics.5. Defensive tactics should be used in the following ways:When the team leads the game, zonal defense and man-to-man marking should be used alternately. When the game becomes tight, zonal defense is better than man-to-man marking; the other tactics should be used alternately. When the team falls behind, mistakes should be looked around the way of using man-to-man marking and zonal marking.
