| It takes ten years to grow trees, but a hundred to rear people. The cultivation ofman lies in education, and the education of the leader is the teacher. In recent years,teacher knowledge has been a hot problem in the teacher’s field of study. Teachers’practical knowledge is complex and fuzzy. To raise the level of expertise, theseteachers must constantly enrich their practical knowledge by varies of method to seeher beauty face. This study is based on teachers’ practical knowledge theoreticalresearch, I select a cooperative teacher, and study her practical knowledge by usingthe method of narrative research. Combined with classroom observation, interviewsand teacher’reflection diary, I analysis respondent’s practical knowledge’structurecontent. The thesis consists of five chapters as follow:Chapter one: introduction. It explains the background and design procedure ofthe study, and reviews what former researchers have done about teachers’ practicalknowledge at home and abroad, Then, I give a review on it to find the starting point ofresearch. Chapter two, related theory combing, I do a simple related theory combabout the research on teachers’ practical knowledge. Chapter three, research methodsand design, I select a cooperative teacher as an research object, and combined withher literature, classroom observation and interview with miss Yang to see her practicalknowledge. At last, I explore the Source way and the development way of practicalknowledge. Chapter four, I analyze the cooperative teacher’s current practicalknowledge. Secondly I discuss the sources of teacher practical knowledge from beforeinduction and after induction. At last, I describe how to update the noviceteachers’practical knowledge. Chapter five, I synthesize the case study’ results and thesource of practical knowledge to promote the development of the primary schoolChinese teacher’ practical knowledge from pre-service training and after-occupationdevelopment.
