The development of Chinese education was far behind the west capitalist countries inthe late Qing Dynasty. During the period of new policy,the government took a series ofeducational measures, such as abolishing the imperial examination, initiating the new schoolsand organizing overseas studying, which provided opportunities for the development ofChinese modern education. Especially Gui-maoSehool System refered to the femaleeducation for the first time,which provides the system safeguard for the development of themodern female education.In1907, the Qing government signed Rules for Female PrimarySchool (26rules), Rules for Female Normal School (36rules) to put the female education intosystem formally, which encouraged the development of the female education. The northestChina responded positively and established lots of women’s education places. The modernfemale education made significant achievements, which improved the development of themodern female education in northeast China.The period of the new policy in the late Qing Dynasty is the transition stage oftransformation and development from tradition to modern Chinese woman’s education,itsgermination played a key role in the development of modern women’s education in northeastChina. The thesis mainly analyses the conditions and development situation of modernwomen’s education in northeast China. Which not only summarizes the characteristic, butalso evaluates it objectively.First of all, the article elaborates some rising conditions of the female education innortheast China, which involves the introduction of women church schools’ ideas, the leadingof modern educational development in northeast China and so on. And then, it describes thegeneral situation of women’s education in northeast China. Finally, the essay not only givesobjective and overall appraisement, but also summarizes the development characteristic andinfluence.The period of the new policy in the late Qing Dynasty was the important period of reformand innovation, whose development was later and smaller than some inland provinces ofChina. Although it had lots of questions, it got quite achievements. All in all, it not onlyheld the beginning of female education, but also provided the basis of modern education inNortheast China...
