Teaching is one of the most basic tasks and functions of university, and is in theheart of the interaction of various powers in university. Scientific decision-makingmechanism of university teaching is the key to ensure that university teaching isscientific and efficient.Some methods such as analysis of literature, analysis of policy text, investigationon the network,literature survey,case study were used in the study to research thehistorical development and the actual status of teaching decision-making mechanismin Chinese university. There have been found that there were some trends of theteaching decision-making mechanism development, which are decision-making bodyis gradually diversification, decision-making organization structure is increasinglystable and unified, decision-making content of teaching is gradually expanding.However, decision-making mechanism of university teaching in our country havesome problems that administrative power is in a strong position, the pluralism ofteaching decision-making subject needs to be strengthened, the teachingdecision-making power still needs to balance and coordination.Committee System decision-making mechanism of university teaching wasconstructed on the governance theory. This is a decision-making mechanism that ismainly composed of the school board, the academic committee, the committee for theconferment of academic degrees, teaching committee and other organizations. Andacademic power is leading role in it. The body diversification of decision-making,power balance and interaction and cooperation are main features of thedecision-making mechanism. And the problem of diversity about decision-makingmechanism of university teaching was put in the article.Study suggest that the establishment of a new university teachingdecision-making mechanism is to reform the existing university teachingdecision-making mechanism that does not comply with the law of university anduniversity teaching decision-making, and put interest demands of pluralistic power into institutional framework to Integration and coordination, by this way for thedevelopment and promotion of university teaching quality.
