The Research On The Influence Factors And Choreography Of The Routine In China Team Cheer Jazz

Team Cheer Jazz is a sport event which shows the dancing skills and the teamwork of the athletes, presented through routine movement along with music. The quality of choreography of Team Cheer Jazz is directly related with the outcome of the performance. This paper, which is based on the 2014 edition of the rules of the Team Cheer Jazz game, by documents researching, experts interviewing, questionnaires, video analyzing and statistics, circumspectly analyzed the choreography and influencing factors of the Team Cheer Jazz through of six teams from the World Championship of 2013 and the National Championship of 2014.Result shows:1) Team Cheer Jazz harbors the characteristics like the youthful energy of campus, teamwork, presence of stretching skills, and free background music.2) Team Cheer Jazz choreography of our country has a relatively high level of starting and ending, and the music is highly correlated with the routine movement, however it also shows simplicity and a lack of creativity, especially in special changes which is mainly simple form. This form has a smaller number of difficult movements and articulations comparing with the international level, especially in turning, lifting and partnering.3) The influencing factors of Chinese Team Cheer Jazz are developed from the interaction of many aspects. According to Activity Based Classification, this paper concludes that the main influencing factors are:non-professional coaches, short of creativity, education level, professional skills of athletes, physical reserves, game experience and training participation.4) In order to overcome the current shortcomings, this paper suggests that we strengthen the overall quality and ability of choreography and systematic training of athletes; enriching the choreography methods and enhancing the validity and diversification of choreography; complete the educational regime, improve international communication; increase the financial support; better understanding of the new rules and make changes based on the new rules.
