The Research For Using Attacking Zone-defense Tactics Of The Present World Top Men’s Basketball Team And Chinese Men’s Basketball Team

As Yao Ming retired, Chinese men’s basketball team lost a lot of games. The level of world Basketball is developing with high speed. The tactics of zone-defense show the development of defense specifically, range, flexible and changes. The tactics of attack zone-defense have been many changes and development.Therefore, the induction and the summary in the traits of attacking zone-defense tactics and finding the trend of the development of the top basketball team have a great significance to promoting in taking attacking zone-defense reasonably and effectively and mproving coaching and training in Chinese Basketball.This paper adopted video observation method, literature method, mathematical statistics method and case analyzing method to analyze the tactics of attacking zone-defense of 1/4 quarter final to final games in London Olympic Games and 3 games of Chinese Basketball team in Inchoen Asian Game. Through statistics and analysis of the relative index, the main research results are as follows:1. World top basketball teams take a more specific defense in games. When meet a opponent has players good at driving, they use zone-defense in the beginning of the game to limiting the penetration, enhancing protecting the basket, and get an advantage.2. World the top basketball teams often choose 1-3-1,2-1-2 and 3-2 attacks against the zone-defense. The methods of attacking tactics are making screen-and-drive, drive-and-pass, and quick-pass in the offside.3. World top basketball teams often take screen plays and drive and pass, more than give-and-go and pivot pass. Screen play is the pillar of modern basketball.4. Attacking zone-defense through drive-and-pass of world top basketball teams has remarkably different between the past. They choose penetration from the wings to the low-arc of free-throw line and pass.5. Regarding the scoring area in attacking zone-defense of world top basketball teams, field goals attempted in three-point area are the most, the second arein the lane and less in the mid-range. The methods of scoring in three-point area are through dive-pass-shoot and shooting after quick-pass, in the lane are through shooting directly and stop-and-jump shoot, in the mid-range are through stop-and jump shot.6. Chinese men’s Basketball team mainly choose 1-3-1 attacks against zone-deTense, is more monotonous comparing with world top basketball teams and lack in tactics changing. Chinese team often attack through quick-pass in the offside. Chinese men’s basketball team choose equally every attacks of basic plays, and use screen plays and give-and-go less than world top basketball team, often use pivot-pass through the center.
