Badminton is a highly strategic and open sport with relatively high metal exercise. The technical movements of badminton are very exquisite and the consistency of movement is highly emphasized, which requires balls with different landing points using the same movement. Also, badminton is a ball game with the fastest speed in the world, so athletes normally need to make decisions without sufficient clues. Through the research on the progress of athletes’competitive abilities’formation, it is found that not only being proficient in skills, strategies and movement essentials is necessary, but good specified recognition and decision-making ability is also very important, if the athlete is to get good result in the competition. In badminton competition, on-site competition ability should be brought into play, and not only the response, but also the speed of thinking should be fast. So, motion decision is essential in badminton.By simulating the real scene of badminton match, this research brings in tasks with different difficulties and training of decision-making. The effects of movement levels, task difficulty, types of decision-making to the decision-making of badminton players are researched. By the interventional training using specified video with different speeds, the effects of specified video simulation training to the recognition and intuition decision of fresh players are researched. The participants of this experiment are the students majored in or minored in badminton from a domestic sport university. There are totally 70 students, among which 40 are male and 30 are female. The captured test materials in this experiment are tested in E-Prime psychological software. Two experiments are designed for this research:Experiment 1:The effects task difficulties and types of decision-making to the decision-making of badminton athletes in different levels; Experiment 2:The effects of specified simulation training with videos in different playback speeds to the decision-making of fresh badminton players. The conclusions of this research are as follows:(1)Sport level is an important factor in affecting athletes’ decision-making. No matter under scenes of complicated or simple tasks, professionals always have higher correct rates in recognition decision as well as intuitive decision, than intermediate-level group and freshman group. Professionals’recognition advantages in decision-making are very significant.(2)Task difficulty is an important factor in affecting athletes’ decision-making. All three groups get higher correct rates and faster response in simple tasks than in complicated tasks.(3)Type of decision-making is an important factor in affecting athletes’ decision-making. No matter in simple or complicated tasks, the correct rates of recognition decision are always higher than that in intuitive decision.(4)Video training is an effective way to improve the athletes’ decision-making abilities. Fresh players’correct rates and response speed are both improved significantly through training. Fresh players’ correct rates of decision are improved while the response speed is not lowered down.
