Traditional sports of minority, the brightest pearl in the history of oriental civilization, concentrates the essence of five thousand years of Chinese culture, with its rich contents, strong interest and distinctive characteristics to distinct from any other cultures in the world. It abundantly expresses a nation’s character, religion, national spirit and cultural deposits. However, after entering the 21st century, it sinks into a precarious situation where people feel so sorrowful and distraught. As citizens of this country, we can never escape from our responsibility. Qian Mu ever claimed that, "Culture is a nation’s life. If a nation without culture, there is no life".In order to ensure that the culture can get well developed and extended, the traditional sports of minority badly need to find a way to realize the cultural inheritance and development. As we all known, education is the most fundamental means and conditions to achieve this goal. The idea, the means and the degree of education all determine the way of inheritance and the prospect of development, even indicating the future direction of development.Education is a kind of life mechanism for cultural. As a way of cultural existence, education meanwhile has a reaction to culture itself. In the effect of education, culture could be able to come into being, inherit and develop. And as a means of promoting human progress, education has always been highly concerned by the nation and state. "The central committee of the communist party of China on national economy and social development of the 10th five-year plan suggestion", presented in the 5th Plenary Session of the 15th National Congress of the CPC, put forward that, "Education is the foundation of talent cultivating, and has a guiding and overall effect to the development of economy and society. So it should develop ahead appropriately. "" The development of education must meet the needs of modernization, the world and the future, taking the road of reform and innovation." [1]With the world’s high attention on China and more respect to Chinese traditional culture, the educational value of traditional culture is particularly special for the importance of social development. As the traditional culture with distinctive national characteristics, the traditional sports of minority has rooted in the society and has been used for the community, accompanying many educational activities since it emerged. In the long-term evolution of social activities, the traditional Sports of minority and education interact and coordinate with each other to get mutual development. Therefore, we can say that education is the core of traditional sports of minority.Under the guidance of pedagogy, this paper theoretically explores that the interactive development between minority traditional sports and educational activities through literature research, interviews, field investigation with the related theories of ethnology, sociology, sports science. Additionally, the article analyze theoretically the development of Luoxuan, a kind of minority traditional sports, adopting a empirical research, in order to prove that the main function and practical significance of the interactive development between minority traditional sports and educational activities.Main research reveals:1、The development of minority traditional sports depends on education’s progress. That is, through sharing educational resources and providing cultural and educational function, minority traditional sports take off.2、National education is an important part of our national work, and as an critical resource for national education,minority traditional sports can promote national unity and the implementation of national education. In addition, national educational function can be achieved through minority traditional sports education.3、The school is an essential place of inheriting minority traditional sports. We should accelerate the promotion of minority traditional sports, develop the school-based curriculum, and establish cultural characteristics on campus, enrich ethnic traditional and cultural activities. Through this,the interactive development between minority traditional sports and educational activities can be realized.4、Taking an advantage of allocating important educational resources, the government should focus on the cultural development of minority traditional sports and give elite athletes more rights to get education in minority in order to encourage the growth of minority traditional sports culture.Education, as the main means to realize the human socialization, fully show us its educational function. Lu Zuofu ever talked about school education, "The school is not to cultivate students, but to teach students how to cultivate society." How can we say that our education does not want to reach this result after all? In order to discuss the problems on interacted development between the traditional sports of minority and education, this paper deeply discusses these problems that influence and promote the development of minority traditional sports education in terms of educational anthropology, ethnology, sports science, sociology and so on. Up to now, China’s educational anthropological research has made significant progress and formed more than ten relatively concentrated research areas, showing these research features that minority education is the main object of study, and society concerns vulnerable groups. [2] Current research on the traditional sports of minority only focused on its inheritance and development. Only when the power of cultural development is sufficient and the external structure is reasonable, can the inheritance and development of the minority traditional sports will form a virtuous circle. When we are calling for the revival of traditional national sports, The research on the development of minority traditional sports and education should be strengthened. Because the accomplishment of education is the symbol of rejuvenating our traditional national culturestate’s policy-oriented has put forward to provide adequate resources to the development of minority traditional sports at the same time.
