The rigorous theory of social science really established since the 19th century enlightenment movement. However, the sprout, birth and development of social science throughout the course of human civilization. Especially have closely relationship with the every development of physics, which is earlier established and better developed compared to other disciplines. The important discoveries, the appearance of great men and even the changes of theoretical paradigms in physics have a huge impact on the growth of social science theories and methods, and even fundamental changes. Physicists, social scientists and philosophers of science have been paid more attention to the relevance issues between physics and social science. These are important summaries and rethink of the development of physics and social science, and play a considerable role in promoting the development of human and all aspects society. The present dissertation is mainly historical analysis and comparison. The empirical analysis of the cases and combining theory and practice are used in some chapters. This dissertation attempts to sort out the mutual development of physics and social sciences, and reveals close relationship between physics and social sciences, and tries to find the regular qualities of social sciences in the development process. This dissertation is divided into five parts, including introduction, three chapters and the conclusion. The introduction mainly present the purpose and significance of the research, the main content of this dissertation, the status of research at home and abroad, the methods used in the research, and the difficulties encountered in writing, Innovation and shortcomings of the article. Three chapters deeply analysis that physics has significant impact on social science in three times by historical method. The embryonic stage of ancient physics and social sciences is introduced in the first chapter. First chapter respectively expounds the concept and category of ancient physics, the Aristotle and Archimedes’ physics principle, and the prototype of space-time view, mechanistic, nature view and social thought of social science formed under the influence of physics, reveals that physics has significant impact on social science in the embryonic stage. The second chapter introduces the birth of classical physics and social science. Mechanical paradigm is formed in physics at this period. Physics has huge impact on social science in the mode of thinking and research methods. The concept of mechanical paradigm and naturalistic philosophy is formed in the whole scientific community. What is a concrete manifestation is that Decomposition integrated approach and modeling approach which often apply in physics are respectively used to political science and economics. By using these methods makes the subject itself to the positivism. The third chapter introduces the development of Modern physics and Social science. This period is the important turning point for physics, concept and category of the whole physics has undergone tremendous changes. Mechanical theory and the nature view withdraw from the stage of history, however the non determinism of the thinking mode began to flourish. Social science and natural science tended to establish a unified scientific thought. That has given birth to a series of new cross disciplines. Social physics, economic physics and Political mechanics are three outstanding disciplines among them. The mature theories of physics are properly applied to research methods which used to these disciplines. That makes the theory of social science more precise and scientific.
