By the influence on the study of learning disability in the western countries and Taiwan, our mainland scholars begin to pay close attention to the reasons of learning disability and treatment for it in recent years, but the theory of it is not perfect. Mathematics learning difficulty is a form of learning disability who has typical significance. This paper use literature research, questionnaire, interview method, case study method for seeking the reasons of learning disability. It is impacted by many factors under the action of physical, psychological and environmental components to the individual, in combination with the results of the questionnaire of the students in sixth grade. The author analyze different factors in the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, and give some suggestions and comments. Low achievement of students’ learning performance affects the whole teaching activity, while their teachers have not enough knowledge in mathematics learning disability for remedial instruction. Now the strategies to eliminate or ease the mathematics learning disability tend to be in the class, which ignore the instruction for only one student. To the strate gies to eliminate or ease the mathematics learning disability, the based theory of this paper comes from remedial instruction in Taiwan, where promote it actively. Remedial instruction is very famous from top-down in education in Taiwan, which goes deep into the whole district schools. Remedial instruction mainly take the time after class or after school, it targeted to counseling and training for different student, who has special remedial instruction books and materials, It also provides students a network system for long-term monitoring the student’s learning situation. Which was given in this paper, firstly the author formed the designs for remedial instruction under the influence of three factors of mathematics learning disability. To the appropriate for teachers providing theoretical basis for the student to carry on the remedial instruction.It also provides an idea for teachers, with the hope that they can do innovation and application in the practical teaching. Then the author do case study according to the students who may have mathematical learning disability in the class. The author helps them making the strategies for remedial instruction. After a semester of observation and implement remedial instruction, the student’s score on standardized tests has significantly increased. After consideration, we can identify remedial instruction is an effective strategy which can assist teachers controlling different students with different mathematical learning disability,after-class and after-school. It is worth promoting in the future research effectively.
