With the rapid development of higher education,there is no respect for the rights of students in the school management, the conflict between student and university increased gradually. Especially when people see more legal terms frequently, such as "Schooling by Law", "self-management", "establishing a modern university system".At the same time,universities build construction of the university statutes, the era call a more reasonable student management system.Compared with foreign countries, it’s late for autonomous universities disappeared in China, construction of the university statutes is long overdue. Research on universities student management system, it’s good for building a sound legal system of higher education and promoting the process of socialist rule. Guide university students to improve management, pay more attention to student rights. reduce the unreasonable behavior of university students appear in the management, meet the needs of university student’s development. Avoiding the unnecessary problems and disputes between student and university.The research on university student management system mainly involves content, system, philosophy, development and implementation supervision. At present, our student management system has form a certain level and scale from the school discipline to the administrative regulations and laws. From the perspective of the legal point of view, there are still some problems, such as the contents of different standards, student rights and obligations is not correspond, contradictions between norms, low level of student’s democratic participation, lack of supervision and implementation of the system and so on. In order to manage university student in a reasonable and scientific manner, we must show fully respect to the rights of students, and well-equipped student management system.From the current situation of student management system, combined with the construction of the Anhui University and the matching student management system. By the analysis of these texts, exploring the actual situation of students management system. Try to learn from the experience of the universities’ construction which Ministry of Education has approved, give the following recommendations:the construction of university should follow the law and innovative; change the manage idea, serve student instead manage student; the student management system should around student’s rights and obligations; enhance student democratic right to participate;guarantee the implement supervision of student management system, for the purpose of achieving better results in higher education.
