Steal the second base is the most commonly used in MLB stolen bases; The team of National league’s using of stolen base per game is less than the team of American league; The base runner’s possibility of stealing base gradually decreased during the single game, but if the base runner will get runs easy after stealing the base successfully.3. The speed and the ball kind of pitching are significant correlation with the steal second base, when the pitcher pitches for breaking ball base runner stolen bases of success rate is 3.577 times that of the straight shots.4. The position where the catcher gets the ball is significantly associated with the success rate of stealing second base, position for regional 2,3,4 and 1 compared with the base runner stolen bases success more easily.5. When attacking situation is both first and third base have the runner, the runner who steal 2 base are more likely to succeed, the success rate for the base runner itself in first base only 6.441 times.6. Left-hander or right-hander of the pitcher will not affect the result of stealing second base, however the left-hander pitcher can hold the runner on the first base more easy than right-hander, this can limit the trying of stealing second base.
