The results show that:1. Player in position 3 in Chinese team takes certain advantage in height, but it has certain gap in weight. So tall and thin is the basic body shape characteristic of player in position 3 in Chinese team. This characteristic is unfavorable for body fight. Player in position 3 in Chinese men’s basketball team is young in overall age. Age structure is not reasonable.2. 2 points,3 points, free throw shots and shooting average are all less than their opponents in basketball world championships. In Asia Games,2 points,3 points, free throw shots and shooting average are more than their opponents. The way of scoring, Chinese players in position 3 arworse than opponents. In world championships, Chinese players in position3 trend to catching and shot in stopping jump shot, opponents like dribbling and shot in stopping jump shot. In Asia Games, Chinese players in position 3 do better than opponents in the way of scoring.3. In assist and rebound, Chinese players in position 3 do worse than opponents, and they have certain gap in world championships. In Asia Games, Chinese players in position 3 do better than opponents in assist, but their rebounding ability is worse than opponents.
