All the frontline teachers are expecting that teaching can function fully in the education activities, and students can grow to learn mutually with teachers. Generally there is an efficient and pragmatic goal in the educational circles, which means that the knowledge and ability, the progress and methods, and the moral objects can be merged perfectly within a limited teaching span so that the students can grasp more using less time to improve themselves.Revision is a very essential and important kind of course among the teaching procedures. The big difference between Revision and other courses is that it can help students with their self-examinations, feedback, correction, and improvements about what they’ve learned and the ability they’ve got. So we can say this kind of course highly requires the realization of the efficient and pragmatic goal. Among the plenty of teachers I knew, most of them are still instructing students instead of letting them think, some undesirable phenomena like blindly training the students with tons of practice and simple evaluation exist as well. In my opinion, these inefficient and modeling methods restrict the function of Revision, at the same time, students begin to get tired of the Revision because of the above methods. Revision is becoming a synonym of boringness, baldness and even test papers. As far as I concern, all these ignored the cultivation of students’ initiative and cooperative learning.Through the practice and deep thought when I worked on in Class 3, Grade 3, Chengdu No. 7 Experimental Middle School, I found out that the cooperative learning in groups for the Chinese Basic Revision Class will optimize students’ learning styles, arouse their interest, cultivate their consciousness of taking responsibility actively, promote them to form a habit of automatic learning and finally push them to develop inquiry learning. In this way, students will discover the problems and seek the unknown fields together with classmates so that they can all share a cooperative consciousness and team spirit, at last a good studying atmosphere and class outlook can be built-up.In this paper, I’ll take some of my own teaching practice as reference to discuss how to carry out the cooperative learning in groups and some related issues. I’m also to study some steps such as previous preparations, operation process and evaluation methods of the cooperative learning in groups. Further by this study, the educational concepts of teachers will be promoted to transform and their capacity gets improved.
