The Research Of The Cultivation Of The University Students’ Awareness Of Ecological Civilization

Hu Jintao proposed in the eighteen report, construction of ecological civilization is the relationship between people’s well-being related to the nation’s long-term plan. To strengthen publicity and education of ecological civilization, enhance people’s awareness of conservation, environmental protection, ecological consciousness, and the formation of rational consumption of social fashion in order to create a good atmosphere for the ecological environment. Therefore, promoting the construction of ecological civilization, has not only a far-reaching impact on the rapid development of contemporary China, but also the solemn answer to the question that what should China do to deal with the increasingly serious global ecological environment problem.Consciousness is the guide of the behavior. Ecological civilization construction and improvement needs the efforts of everyone, not only from the actions involved in the construction, but also from the ideological recognize its importance, consciously prevent the behavior of destruction to the ecological civilization. Contemporary college students are the successors of the future society, they will embark on various fields such as political, economic, cultural areas and become leaders. Their awareness of ecological civilization can directly affects the speed and quality of social development, so the education of ecological civilization to the students has not only theoretical significance, but also practical importance. This thesis is divided into five parts:Firstly, discuss the fundamental theory of awareness of ecological civilization, including the concept of ecological civilization consciousness, theoretical origin of consciousness of ecological civilization, as well as the relation between awareness and construction of ecological civilization. From the theory to answer what is the awareness of ecological civilization, ecological civilization consciousness development context, and the importance of ecological civilization consciousness in order to explain the theoretical basis for the cultivation of the awareness of ecological civilization.Secondly, survey the status of students’ awareness of ecological civilization by questionnaires, researches and interviews. The research shows the improvement of contemporary college students’ awareness of ecological civilization in general. They can recognize the relationship between human and nature correctly and begin to pay attention to ecological civilization in the daily life consciously, but they do not have a deeper understanding of ecological civilization and their participations in the construction of ecological civilization need to be improved in the further.Finally, it illustrates the approach to cultivates students the awareness of ecological civilization through the curriculum, eco-campus construction and coming up with some corresponding measures on students’ practical activities, thus providing some references and relative methods of enhancing students’ awareness of ecological civilization in the terms of school education.
