Micro-blog, Wechat and other micro tools are leading people into the micro-era, the arrival of the micro-era greatly changed college students’ lifestyle, the way of thinking, and the way of learning. And it affected the formation and education college students’ socialist core values. In the face of the challenges, building the micro-blog and wechat into an important platform of accessing information and communications, while according to the specific issues, making timely, targeted education measures of college students’ socialist core values are important and practical.In this thesis, the research objects are the students in eight colleges of Guangxi, through the questionnaire survey, SPSS statistical analysis software, for the analyzing and researching college students’ socialist core values education under current situation of micro era. The first part, combined with the characteristics of micro era, author summarize the background of students’ socialist core values education in micro era, the core concepts, research status, significance, content, methods, theoretical overview and innovations. The second part is the organization and analysis of the questionnaire survey data. First are the purpose, design, statistics and collections of questionnaires. The second is the analysis of survey data, including questionnaires’ basic information analysis and questionnaires’ content analysis. The main contents included the understanding of college students’ socialist core values, the way of learning, the use of micro tools, and the survey and summary of college students’ suggestions. The third part is the main issues and causes of students’ socialism core values education in the micro era. The main problems are: students’ socialist core values education is still affected by the traditional education model; students’ attention to official micro blog and wechat of college education is not enough, the interaction is not strong; the traditional socialist core values of education, the micro tools socialist core values of education, the cooperation between them is not high; emphasis on micro tools platform for colleges socialist core values education is not enough; the content of colleges socialist core values education is rather monotonous. The causes:micro tools in students socialist core values education are underutilized; the contents about socialist core values of educational of colleges micro tools are not prominent or attractive; media literacy of socialist core educators need to be improved; the drawbacks of socialist core values in traditional education has becoming increasingly prominent. The fourth part is the initiatives of college students’socialist core values education. Discussed from three aspects: deepening the micro tools application awareness in colleges; the rational use of micro tools, which are showing broader perspectives from details; combining the socialist core values of traditional education and "micro-era" media education; upgrading the "micro-era" ideological and political educators’media literacy. Conclusion and prospect are given in the last chapter. There are also some measures with future research direction being given.
