The Present Condition And Development Tendency Of The Media Operation In Large-scale Sports Events Of China

Sports science research is the impetus for the development of physical education. Scientific research of basketball sports is a practical activity, which is utilizing scientific theory and method to disclose the various phenomena and rules in basketball sports in the field of basketball, also to probe into the substantive characteristic of basketball and to use these rules to serve the development of basketball consciously, intentionally and designedly. Therefore, carrying out and supporting the scientific research work of basketball actively plays a vital role to the healthy and sustainable development of our basketball cause.This paper is intended to take advantage of various research methods such as literature material law, expert interview method, logical analysis,mathematical statistics method, etc, to carry out the research, setting the basketball related literatures published in the Chinese core periodicals within the PE category dated from 2003 to 2013, 10 years in total, as the objects of research. The picking of the periodicals should follow the standard of Overview of Chinese Core Periodicals published by Peking University in 2011, which includes the following periodicals: Sports Science, Chinese Physical Education Science and Technology, Physical Education and Science, Journal of Physical Education, Sports Cultural Guide, Journal of Beijing College of Physical Education, Journal of Shanghai College of Physical Education, Journal of Wuhan College of Physical Education, Journal of Guangzhou College of Physical Education, Journal of Chengdu College of Physical Education, Journal of Tianjin College of Physical Education, Journal of Xian College of Physical Education, Journal of Capital College of Physical Education, Journal of Shandong College of Physical Education, Journal of Shenyang College of Physical Education, and Shandong Sports Technology. This paper makes statistic analysis on the basketball related literatures published in the core periodicals of the Chinese PE category within 10 years from the perspective of paper publication quantity, characteristics of times, the content distribution, citation rate, fund program and so on. The following conclusions can be drawn: 1. Colleges of physical education has become the frontline of Chinese basketball research. In addition, the Journal of Beijing College of Physical Education and the Journal of Capital College of Physical Education contributes most of the basketball related literatures during the recent ten years, which provides the theoretical supports for the development of China ’ s basketball cause; 2. The times characteristics of the core periodicals belonging to physical education types has obvious connection with our policy orientation of our physical education. Especially for the period after Beijing Olympic Games, the publication of basketball related core periodical of physical education type has seen significant decline; 3. During this ten years, the research content of basketball literatures of core periodical which belongs to the physical education type is mainly focused on three aspects namely: competitive basketball and training, basketball theory and basketball teaching. However, the research literatures regarding public basketball, basketball sports medicine and injury rehabilitation, teenagers, etc, are very few; 4. citation frequency and proportion of basketball literatures can reveal the information quantity contained in this journal. Basketball related literatures quantity contained in the Journal of Beijing College of Physical Education is the largest, accounting for absolute advantages; 5. the fund type of basketball literature of core journal within the type of P.E. is mainly the provincial and ministerial-level. We should put more investment in the Master and Doctor students fund, so as to provide a good protection for nurturing our country’s scientific research backup talents.
