A Study Of Rural Women’s Leisure Life In Zhuang Area

Leisure is a kind of development right which strengthens and highlights gradually the needs and equality. With the promotion of agricultural technology and economic restructuring and adjustment of rural families, the pressure from the rural women who engaged in agricultural production has mitigated, and with the popularity of gender equality, their leisure time has increased as well as housework share. However, the author considers that the increase of leisure time is only the necessary foundation for rural women to enjoy leisure life which difficult to form the sufficient conditions. The quality of leisure life depends on a variety of combined factors such as society, group and individual work, so that there are significant differences on leisure life characteristics among rural women.The main idea of this thesis is to discuss the situation of rural women’s leisure life in Zhuang area, including the overall level, main contents, methods and influence factors.There are three aspects:first of all, from the perspective of cultural construction to describe the current situation of rural women’s leisure life in Zhuang area, and explore the differences among various groups of women’s leisure life and try to make a reasonable explanation on it; Secondly, from the perspective of gender development theory to discuss the effective suggestions of Zhuang rural women who have arranged reasonably leisure time and joined in leisure activities; thirdly, according to the theory of social mutual-construction, this paper aimed at the main problems in women’s leisure activities, trying to improve the system of rural women’s leisure life of quality and policy support.During the study, the author obverses in HouZhai Village Fusui country Guangxi and uses a questionnaire survey of 90 women, finds that There is an obvious character "a high five low" in Zhuang rural women’s leisure life, that is the high amount of rural women’s leisure time, but the utilization low level of leisure time,little option, low consumer awareness、low personal expectations and low degree of systematic.To sum up, this paper puts forward that strengthen the education and guidance of rural women’s leisure, encourage them to contact with city life experience, improve the mechanism of rural leisure activities of the organization recommended measures, such as by individuals, organizations and society should be get together to improve the quality of rural women’s leisure life, and meet the self-demand of rural women’s comprehensive development.
