Environmental protection has been increasingly emphasized by countries all over the world; the environmental awareness has become an important part of the quality of human culture, and become the measure of a country, an important standard of the degree of civilization of a nation. With the development of industry and agriculture, chemical pollutants caused more and more serious environmental pollution, protecting human survival environment has become everyone’s responsibility. Therefore, environmental protection education in chemistry teaching is our chemistry teacher’s bounden responsibility. Junior middle school is the key period for students’outlook on life, values, world outlook formation of basic education, the relationship between cultivation of talents of our country, to realize the aim of sustainable development strategy in china. Therefore, the education of green chemistry in middle school must be picked up in order to make the concept of green chemistry is the identity and public concern. The concept of green chemistry education is to make students know how to prevent pollution from the source, in order to truly realize the green chemistry.Junior high school chemistry education is not only to make students understand the basic rules of chemical principle, understand physical chemical changes, but also to let students know how humans use chemical to promote social development, especially the important role played by the understanding of green chemistry. The junior middle school chemistry education focuses on training students to form the basic idea of green chemistry, so that they can eliminate the misunderstanding and prejudice of chemistry, especially to highlight the formation of the consciousness of environmental protection, is to let students know the green chemistry to reduce the greenhouse effect in the prevention and control of atmospheric pollution, ozone layer protection, an important role in protecting soil, water quality, understanding of chemical products to improve the quality of life of people, the protection of human health and safety aspects of the role so as to enhance students’interest in learning chemistry, chemistry learning objectives clear and gradually establish respect for nature, harmony with nature consciousness.
