Under the guidance of the new curriculum standards, the educational reform has beenstepped up. We must stress the emotional reaction if we want to change theteacher-centered teaching model. Students are, in the first place, emotional beings. That’swhy stimulating students’positive emotional reaction is very important to Chinese readingteaching.Based on this concept, the following thesis focuses on students’ emotional experienceduring reading teaching. The first chapter analyses the physical and psychologicalcharacteristics of junior high school students. It puts forward the basic concept ofemotional experience teaching, analyses existing problems with reading teachingin juniorhigh schools. The second chapter analyses the reasons why junior high school students arelacking in positive emotional reaction from the angle of educational system, teachers aswell as families and students themselves. The third chapter puts forward specific strategiesthat can be used in emotional experience teaching in junior high school.Every student has his own unique thinking pattern as an individual emotional being.The task of teachers is to promote good character-building in students. One of the goals ofChinese reading teaching is to allow students to experience real positive emotions. Only bykeeping this goal in mind can we teach better, and can our classes help students becomebetter. Let us push students to form better characters.
