Along with the arrival of the new media era, college students are into a new information age. The Internet, mobile phone and other new media in the popularization and application of the school quickly, provide a full display of self, learning stage for the college students, also brought a new era for the ideological and political education.In order to blog, Micro message as the representative of the new media to the ideological and political education of contemporary university students to bring the impact should not be ignored. In the ideological and political education, new media plays an irreplaceable role. First of all, the paper explains the related theories of new media, ideological and political education of college students. Secondly, the impact of ideological and political education of college students to conduct research, analyze the existing problems so as to arrive:first, the negative impact of new media on college students life, study, psychology. Second, the new media can not meet the needs of students.
