With the popularity of the concept of “Micro”,“Micro lecture” has come into the sight ofeducators and played an increasingly important part in the teaching. Especially in light ofwhere we are now, the micro lecture is mainly composed of short video which has a lot ofadvantages. The two main points including short learning time and watching over and overagain is precisely benefit to self-regulated learning. It can be said that the micro lecture hasinherent advantages in promoting students’ active learning.But some shortage for micro lecture is exsistent, for example, the characteristics ofchemistry are insignificant. This paper explores micro lecture case design and applicationeducation based on independent learning, which includes theory study and practice. Thecontents of this dissertation, based on above mentioned points, are mainly consisted of thefollowing parts:1.The implications, characteristics and types based on research back ground of both insideand outside China were summarized firstly be guided by theory of independence study.2.The procedure, recording and advertent questions of micro lecture case design of middleschool chemistry were discussed by combiding the characteristics of middle school chemistry.3.The case of micro lecture of middle school chemistry was desighed by the author guidedby the above idea. The case is based on the experiment demonstration, logically calculationand lecture, which choose three representative section as examples of the reaction between thesodium and water, the application of differential dcanning calorimeter and electron transfer ofoxidation-reduction reaction to discussed in detail.4.The application micro lecture of concrete strategy in middle school chemistry was putforward. This part was unfold from before class, in class and after class. It respectivelydiscusses that what kinds of micro class is suitable for before class, in class and after class andhow to use. In the empirical research part,14anime, game production and computer class arebeen considered as the experimental class,and the contrive teaching cases are applied to thepractice teaching. In the form of a questionnaire survey, the effect of the micro lecture inexperimental class was investigated. The results showed that interests in chemistry learningfor the two classes had obviously improve. The sdudents’ distraction decreased markedly after using the microlecture, improving their active learning ability. Also,students are morewilling to accept the lesson by micro import if the lesson can be used in the new form,andthey want to learn more extended content by the micro lecture.Finally, the development of the high school micro lecture respectively from institutionalguarantee,concept promote and specific implementation level, and so on in this paper isdiscussed.
