With a new round of curriculum reform in the history of high schools, high school history teaching is changing from the traditional knowledge to promote the development of students’ comprehensive ability of the main subjects. Improve students’ academic ability is increasingly becoming an important factor in the success of the classroom test. Historical thinking skills as a core capability of the discipline of history, also will be taken seriously and training.In high school history classroom, students and teachers must have the historical thinking skill which is as the most important ability of learning the history and an important methodology. And improving students’ ability is rely mainly on the ability that teachers how to training students, Therefore, developing teachers’ historical thinking skill has becoming an important factor in the success of the teaching of history, becoming the basis of students’ ability to develop the discipline of history. Based on this point, this paper wants to probe the implications of historical thinking skill to propose the historical thinking skills that a high school history teachers must have, so it can give modest ability in promoting the development of the discipline of history.This paper is divided into two parts:meaning of historical thinking skills and high school history teacher of Historical Thinking Connotation. We will use history theory and education theory to explore the definition of teachers’ knowledge of the history of thinking from history research, and then, probe the main content of the history of thinking ability of high school history teachers.
