The Analysis Of The Old Woman Daughter-in-law Relation In Prototype Theory Perspective

Both ancient and modern，law relationship is a common theme. From the earliest mythsand legends, the ancient literature to modern variety of plays, novels, dramas and other mediacontinue to perform, topic-law has continued ever since. Although law relationship have theirown characteristics due to different time and place，its narrative pattern was inseparable fromthe "fight-law" theme. Mother is noble and wife is humility in ancient, mother relied on theauthority of the feudal patriarch dictates wife, ancient-law on both sides of personality iscompletely unequal. In modern television dramas, mother and wife have more conflicts indaily life because of micromanaging and the conflicts explode at any time, but intensified.No matter in the myths and legends, ancient literature or the modern novels, plays, andtelevision works, the recurrent imagery of the conflict between mother and wife, generationsof each other, modeling and territory across time and space,why the characteristics can beinherited? Why the family drama is still keen to express the "conflict-law" in profoundchanges of the social reality? In this paper, ancient myths as the starting point, we hope toexplore the following questions: firstly,crawling prototype-law relationship from Westernmythology, clarifying the original root cause of the fight-law. Secondly, analyzing andinterpreting the "Motherhood" in-law conflict, sketching out narrative mode of law conflicts,and then summarizing the prototype connotation of law relationship. Thirdly, starting frommodern family drama "Kintaro’s happy life","her mother met Mom",the author uses textanalysis methods to analyze the characteristics of modern television dramas in lawrelationship, in-depth interpretation of motives-law conflict, characteristics, and causes. Last,the author points the substantive of "female woman" relationships. After the above analysisand interpretation, the author believes that both ancient and modern law relationship are onthe substance of "male-female" relationship replacement. Women are under the guise ofmale power, educating and conducting another woman, mother and daughter did not getindependence, still dependent on men exist.There is no research which use the prototype theory to analysis old womandaughter-in-law relation at present. The author analysis the prototype theory, at the sametime, from the results we can reflect on the old woman daughter-in-law relation in real life.Therefore, this study has double value on theory and practice.
