| Asking questions at classes plays an essential part in mathematics teaching,functioning as an important mean which can teach knowledge and inspire students to think.Meanwhile, throughout the class-based teaching, it has an control over the process ofteachers’ teaching which contributes to improving the effectiveness of the class. In fact,every teacher should take it seriously because it is a key to carrying out their teaching plans.Moreover, much information about students and feedbacks from class will be easilyaccessible by asking questions. Thus, based on the previous studies and the conclusionsdrawn by others, my study is to focus on the present situation of asking questions at classfrom different angles.In this study, first, I will list several relevant factors involving ways of askingquestions at class by referring to various cited references. Second,two surveys meant forteachers and students has been designed so that people will have a good understanding ofthe present situation of asking questions and know more about expectations from studentsand their satisfactory. Third, the different way of asking questions at class will bepresented by analyzing the cases. Last but not lest, to put the theory into practice, Iselect three typical classes such as a new class, an exercise-based class and a revisionclass, which aim to provide more effective strategies for teachers and more newclass-based design will be available. |
