Vibration training as a relatively new method of strength training has got the favor of sports and fitness industry field in recent years. At present, there are great differences and controversy in improving the strength with proper vibration frequency and amplitude. With the same frequency, amplitude and under the same load, the influence of different forms of vibration training on the body has differences. By using two different forms of vibration training as the breakthrough point, this study select the Power plate vibration platform and Galileo900vibration platform which experiment with the same frequency, amplitude and the same50%1RM weigh load. At the same time, using the traditional resistance group as a contrast, this study tries to reveal the different effect on growth of lower limbs’explosive power under two different forms of vibration training and traditional resistance training. This study chose18undergraduates (male-student) majoring in track and field from Physical Education Department, BSU, as experimental objects. The subjects were divided into three groups:group I, Power plate vibration training group; group II, Galileo900vibration training group; group Ⅲ, traditional resistance training group. There were6students in each group. Exert the same50%1RM weigh load on the two vibration training groups with fixed amplitude of2mm, frequency of30Hz. The experiment lasted for8weeks, twice a week. The study would include tests of maximum strength, standing long jump, squat longitudinal jump,30m respectively before and after the experiment. The study makes a contrast analysis of all the indicators’change of the experimental subjects before and after the experiment, and draws the following research conclusions:(1) There’s growth of the lower limb maximum strength with all the three groups after8weeks’training. The effect to improve the lower limb maximum strength of two kinds of vibration mode training’s (group I and group II) is significantly higher than the traditional resistance training (group III). Of the two vibration groups, the effect of group I is more obvious than group II. This proves that it’s effective to improve the lower limb maximum strength by vibration training with the same frequency, amplitude and the same50%1RM weigh load.(2) Vibration training can effectively improve lower limb muscular power. Of standing long jump and the three indicators of squat longitudinal jump, the effect of group I is more obvious than group II and group III. The effect of group Ⅱ is more obvious than group III in standing long jump and the effect of group III is superior to group II in squat longitudinal jump.(3) The effect of the two vibration groups is superior to the traditional resistance training in30m tests.
