Research On The Parent-child Relationship Of Dual Career Family

With the development of social economy, the improvement of consumption level, the increasing of high social cost of living, a large number of family women go to work in order to alleviate the economic pressure, which leads to a general increase in dual-career families. Parents as the main force of social development have a profound impact on the growth of young children. Both of the parents in dual career families work outside, which leads the accompany time and parenting time greatly reduced, and also changes the the traditional parent-child rearing patterns, thus causing the academic. pay a lot of attention to parenting issues of dual career family.Parent-child relationship as the core of issue of paternity, which is the relationship between parents and children in the family is the important core of influencing the healthy growth of the children, and also parent-child interaction affect the establishment of the relationship. In this paper, I take12dual career families of S city for the sample, using qualitative research method to study the situation of the parent-child interaction in dual career family, concentrate on the description of parent-child relationship and its construction characteristics which based on the process of parent-child interaction, then analyze the negative effects of the parent-child relationship, and finally explore the methods to improve the quality of the parent-child interaction and improve the parent-child relationship from the angle of social work. From the practical point of view, this paper presents the situation of the parent-child interaction and relationship, provides suggestions from the perspective of social work, which means great significance to improve the parent-child relationship and children’s healthy growth in dual career family; From the theoretical point of view, this paper studies on the parent-child relationship of dual career family with3-6years old children, supplements the academic deficiency of the study in dual career families, and also expands the scope of research object of parent-child relationship.
