Currently, the process of the computer and the Internet apply to the human education has been paid more and more attention, the human way of learning is changing. At the same time, a large number of web-based instructional system emerge. Language skill training system of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications is a dedicated network experiment teaching environment based on the university English teaching, however, in the actual use, we found that even if the usability problems and easy of use of the software has been solved, students are still not very willing to use, it has very important effect on the teaching effect. To solve this problem, the author took related empirical studies.Firstly, the paper describes the current status at home and abroad of the web-based instructional system for human-computer interaction design research. Secondly, the author put forward the problems and methods of the research, and then the related theories of psychology, human-computer interaction and user experience are introduced briefly, and put forward the inspiration of the principles of psychology to the human-computer interaction design. Then the author designed the user testing and user interviews on the basis of relevant theory, and put forward a web-based instructional system’s user experience hierarchy model and put forward a series of related hypothesis based on theory and the result of the interview. And then in order to verify the proposed hypothesis, the author designed the questionnaire based on the model, and use SPSS16.0software to analyse the results. Finally, according to the current situation of the web-based instructional system, the author summarizes the conclusion of the research, and put forward suggestions and the prospects for the future research in this field from the angle of the psychology.Through this study, hope to improve the ease of use and learners’ enthusiasm of the web-based instructional system, so that it can improve the students’ satisfaction and interest to use the system, and provide some references for the future design and development of the web-based instructional system.
