The Sub-types And Intervention Study On Alexithymia Of Middle School Students

Alexithymia is a very common but rarely known defect which has an effects on people’ experience and emotional expression. There are defects in alexithymia individuals in the following areas: emotional identification, description and expression of emotion and externally oriented cognitive style. Alexithymia exists in psychiatric patients and the general population. Alexithmia has a close relationship with mental health. Mental consultation should be done to them to improve their mental health.It is necessary to improve targeted intervention for effective intervention.Different types of alexithymia should have the appropriate intervention methods.There are two deficiencies on the researches on sub-types of alexithymia and intervention. First, the researches based on clinical observation and classification from neurobiology summary lacking empirical supports. It is inconsistent of the empirical researches. The following are the reason. First, the researches based on different dimensions of alexithymia structure. Cluster analysis of the researches on alexithymia using the test scores of all. Second, existing interventions are basically for psychotic patients, lacking for general population. Then they will be tested again after two months later.For the above shortcomings, this study is designed as follows: First, verify the reasonableness of the two-factor structure of alexithymia. And then cluster analysis based on 27% of high grouping scores to investigate the sub-types of alexithymia. The treatment is depending on characteristics of the sub-types of alexithymia. Affective alexithymia mainly is difficult to identify emotions, describe and express emotions.Affective alexithymia group accept emotion-based group treatment. Cognitive alexithymia mainly is characterized by oriented cognitive style. Cognitive alexithymia group accept inner-based group treatment. Synthesize alexithymia have two kinds of defects. Synthesize alexithymia group accept emotion-based group treatment and inner-based group treatment.Then draw the following conclusions.(1)Alexithymia is a two-factor structure.(2)Alexithymia can be divided into affective alexithymia, cognitive alexithymiaand synthesize alexithymia.(3)After intervention, Group treatment for emotional alexithymia is effective for alexithymia scores, emotional scores and has a good long-term effects.(4)After intervention, Group treatment for cognitive alexithymia is effective for alexithymia scores, emotional scores cognitive scores and has a good long-term effects.(5)After intervention, Group treatment for synthesize alexithymia is effective for alexithymia scores, emotional scores cognitive scoresand has a good long-term effects.
