Whether there is a relationship between educational investment input and the studentacademic outcome is one of the most important topics in the field of school School effectivenessresearch. However, the question of whether a variety of educational investments in educationplay a role in students’ achievements is still controversial.Our present school evaluation models usually is "critical evaluation", using students’college entrance examination and tests as a criterion for evaluating the teaching quality forsimple comparison.This approach is not conducive to inspire the enthusiasm of the school, andalso not conducive to the overall development of students.The subjects of this study were6445students from39junior high schools. We linked theirtwo examination scores, and collected individual background information such as gender,household information, and corresponding school education resource variables. This studyselected three types of school education resource variables: human resources, material resourcesand financial resources, in terms of total amount and average amount per student. Based on theidea of value-added assessment, right models were constructed to explore the relationshipbetween school educational resources and value-added in student academic scores, to explore therelationship between student achievement and school level variables, and evaluate schools byusing value-added method.
