A Study On The Strategy Of Using Official Micro-blog To Improve The Political Socialization Of University Students

Over recent years, all colleges and universities in China have attempted to launch their official affairs microblogging following the governmental organizations. From the reality, they integrate strengthening and innovating campus Internet management into the overall work pattern by taking full advantage of the universality and authority of the official affairs microblogging. During the process, the higher education institutions actively explore the way of improving the campus management method so as to build a positive, active and stable campus network space for the healthy development of young undergraduates with the help of the network platform. However, each coin has two sides. The microblogging brings about new opportunities for the higher education institutions in their daily management and ideological and political education but it also causes new challenges. Therefore, it is of great importance to take full advantage to employ the official affairs to carry out ideological and political education to promote the undergraduates to realize the political socialization in the good trend.This study starts with the official affair microblogging of the higher education institutions. It, through analyzing the current operational situation of the political affairs in the colleges and universities and the political socialization of the undergraduates, puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the higher education institutions to promote the political socialization of the undergraduates with new situations.This paper includes the following four parts. The first part is Introduction, which carefully analyzes the research significance, two core concepts involved in the study, literature review and research methods, thereby laying a foundation for the following research.Part two is about the current situation of the political affair microblogging of colleges and universities as well as the political socialization of the undergraduates. This part collects the first hand materials to sort out and analysis by investigating the operation of official affairs in the higher education institutions and the political socialization of the undergraduates, which is a basis of the relevant countermeasures.Part three is on the countermeasures for promoting the political socialization of the undergraduates with the official affair microblogging of the higher education. This part points out the way to convey the message of ideological and political education with the help of their official affairs microblogging based on the studies of the three parts so as to improve the practicality of the ideological and political education in colleges as well as encourage undergraduates to realize positive self-development.Part four is the conclusion. With the summarization of the three parts above, it proposes the prospect for the future development of official affairs microblogging and the undergraduates’ political socialization and then summarizes the aspects that the study needs to improve.
