Research On Ideological And Political Educational Countermeasures Based On WeChat Official Accounts In Colleges And Universities

At the National Conference on ideological and political work in Colleges and Universities from December 7 to 8,2016,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that "it is necessary to use new media and new technologies to make work live,promote the high integration of traditional advantages of ideological and political work with information technology,and enhance the sense and attractiveness of the times." The advent of WeChat not only affects the way people communicate,but also brings new opportunities to the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Based on the previous research results,this study focuses on the WeChat official account in colleges and universities and the ideological and political education work in colleges and universities.Through questionnaires and interviews,this paper investigates the present situation of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities using WeChat official account,and analyzes the current situation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.This paper holds that the WeChat official account in colleges and universities has the characteristics of authority,richness,convenience,pertinence and hidden,and has the ideological and political education function of ideological guidance,educational service,communication and interaction,and personality shaping.Based on the theory of ideological and political education,the WeChat official account of colleges and universities can be used as the carrier of ideological and political education and provide a new platform for ideological and political education in colleges and universities.At present,the ideological and political education in colleges and universities in our country is faced with the low degree of college students' recognition of the theoretical course of ideological and political education,the lack of coordinated education between ideological and political teachers and counselors,and the change of social environment to the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Through the investigation and analysis of the present situation of using WeChat official account to carry out ideological and political education in colleges and universities,this paper holds that there are some problems in colleges and universities when using WeChat official account to carry out ideological and political education,such as push content,form and time need to be optimized,lack of positive interaction,and the effect of ideological and political education didn't reach the ideal results.These problems are mainly caused by the insufficient attention paid by colleges and universities to the ideological and political education function of WeChat official account.The construction of WeChat official account operation team in colleges and universities is unreasonable,the material guarantee is not sufficient and the restriction of college students' own factors.Based on the current situation of ideological and political education in China and the present situation of colleges and universities using WeChat official account to carry out ideological and political education,this paper puts forward some suggestions for colleges and universities to use WeChat official account to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education: actively occupy the main position of network ideological and political education;strengthen the ideological and political education content construction of WeChat official account in colleges and universities;strengthen the platform construction of WeChat official account in colleges and universities;to create a clear ideological and political education environment for WeChat official accounts in colleges and universities.
