As an significant base to cultivate intellectual elite and top talent, universities have been borne important responsibilities of providing quality education resources and creating harmonious learning environment for the students. In recent years, with the continuous development of universities, the campus security problems are increasingly prominent. Vicious incidents, such as theft cases, traffic accidents, fire, mass incidents, seriously affected the normal order of scientific research and learning in universities. At the same time, the incidents have threatened the security in campus so much that have caused bad influences on society. Comparing with security infrastructure and security environment in the campus, campus community has greatest influences on campus security. Meanwhile, the security awareness of campus community has played a direct leading role on individual security behavior. Therefore, with taking example of the natural ecosystem and making use of relevant knowledge of Lotka-Volterra model, the thesis has built complex campus security system. The campus community is divided into one population with correct campus security awareness and the other population with wrong campus security awareness. Besides, relative contents have been discussed as followed. On the one hand, the thesis has proceeded theoretical analysis on the complex campus security system. It has used Jacobi matrix to analysis equilibrium stability condition. Because values of alternative factors a and b are different, there are three different relationships such as cooperative relationship, predator-prey relationship and competitive relationship. On the basis of detailed classification in different relationships of two populations in the complex campus security system, the thesis has discussed the stability of the equilibrium points of the system. On the other hand, because the inorganic environment factor can not be ignored as the role in campus, the thesis has divided the system model into deterministic model that inorganic environment factor is not included and stochastic model that inorganic environment factor is included. With constructing the SIMULINK model, the theoretical equation is converted into the simulation model. At the same time, the thesis has simulated deterministic model and the stochastic model. The simulation not only has explored the influence of related parameters on the complex campus security system, but also has got development trend of the curves in different systems of one population with correct campus security awareness and the other population with wrong campus security awareness. At last, this thesis judged the trends suits actual development situation in complex campus security system or not.In addition, with using the "SARS" case in 2003 of the Central University of Finance and EconomicsLthe thesis has proceeded empirical analysis. The case can be divided into two stages according to the development situation. The thesis has discussed the changes of the parameters of every stage in detail and has drawn general development curves in this event of the population with correct campus security awareness and the population with wrong campus security awareness. The actual curves and the simulation curves are basically the same. The development of the event is great enough to fit in the model. Finally, the thesis summarized the relevant conclusions and had put forward suggestions for complex campus security system.
