Since the reform and opening up, China’s economic system, social structure and lifestyle aspects changed dramatically, making China the gradual transformation of society from a traditional society to a modern society, and the concept of Chinese culture, pattern, and structure had a profound impact. Traditional villages are our ancestors left behind a valuable asset, rich in history and cultural landscape, for the purposes of minority and regional cultural heritage is an important agricultural civilization left, covering the people living in the area of national production in common and the creation of life and heritage of the formation of a socio-cultural practices, is a true reflection of the national people’s everyday lifestyle, is the nation’s soul and blood. Heritage protection and development of traditional village culture is to make good use of national and local government departments at all levels incumbent. However, in the process of urbanization accelerate the development and deepening of the moment, a lot of ethnic cultural village or neglected or left out, making people enthusiastic gradual cooling of their traditional culture, traditional customs and folklore have become indifferent, how to carry forward the traditional village culture heritage, while promoting local residents live and work, and enhance the economic and social development of the village area of traditional cultural services, promote innovation and the development of national heritage and culture, it is worth further study. Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, located in the southeast Yongding Shiyan Ping Village, has a long history, culture and scenic natural landscape, more unique features of the Tower of Tujia buildings and extremely rich folk culture. In this study, Shiyan Ping Village, for example, by personally fieldwork for social transformation in the village to study the development of cultural change.
