The emotional labor of teachers is a special process that teachers adjust and manage their own feelings at work according to to the requirement of the school to express specific emotion which the school and society need so as to achieve the goals of teaching effectively.As the research of human’s inner world in psychological science moves along, more and more researchers and theorists realize the importance of emotions in the work and daily life. Emotion is not only considered the mental privacy that affects the physical and mental integrity but also a vital variation affects their performance. Therefore the practitioners in all walks of life need to manage their own emotions. At the same time, they are requried to unfold the emotions on the basis of requirements and culture of the internal organization.This thesis focus on the empirical research of the emotional labor of the principals in Hunan Province and teachers and students in the secondary school. It analyzes the survey data deeply and systematically using SPSS statistical software, which seeks out influence factors of middle school teachers’ emotional labor. In the meatime, the paper puts forward management measures of prevention and mitigation of middle school teachers’ emotional labor in Hunan Province, and to provide the scientific evidence for the reasearch of secondary school teachers’ emotional labor.The headmaster’s concept of emotional labor is just a little or not at all.It shows that the understanding of emotional labor has not universal among the school’s administrators.Although it has been cleaarly and highly realized that teachers’ emotional labor is very important to their work. It has not been fallen into place in the process of school management. So there is still big room for improving in school management.The school’s administrators believe that the teacher’s mood is very important to the students’ learning attitude and mental health.The teacher’s occupational values have a significant positive correlation with the emotional labor, which meas that the higher the teachers’ professional values are, the more emotional labor pays. Teachers’ emotional labor has little correlation with the organizational justice of the school. These results are not consistent to our research ideas, we believe that the higher teachers’ recogniation to the organizational justice, the more emotional labor they will pay. Inconsistency may show that the single factor of organizational justice makes low effect to teachers’ emotional labor, it must be the result of multiple factors from the organizational level.Teachers’ emotional labor has little relationship with teachers’ depression and anxiety.Teachers’ emotional labor also has little relationship with the depression and anxiety of students they teach.Then,the author proposes the management strategy of emotion labor according to the research results,the involved factors from schools,individuals and students and the individuation of emotion labor.
