The value of the development of modern information technology on mathematics education, goals, contents and ways of learning and teaching has had a significant impact, especially the application of multimedia technology in the teaching and development has brought great changes to traditional subject teaching.Multimedia can be text, images, graphics, animation, audio, video and other information combined presentation, can stimulate students’interest in learning, and enhance the efficiency of classroom learning to a certain extent, but the actual results are not ideal.Cognitive load is an important factor affecting the effectiveness of multimedia teaching, so this research, students, teachers, observed three perspectives to examine status of cognitive load in multimedia teaching of high school mathematics, exploration of their impact factors, and put forward suggestions.First of all, with survey method from the perspective of both teachers and students study on multimedia teaching of high school mathematics in the cognitive load situation, results showed that in mathematics teaching in high school, students’intrinsic cognitive load is too high, excessive extraneous cognitive load, germane cognitive load is relatively small;Then, reference Flanders interactive analysis system prepared class observation records table, using class observation method test multimedia environment xia of high school mathematics class teaching, results found:teachers taught of content and textbooks basic consistent, and explained order and heavy difficulties exists differences, and teaching in the lack sample cases of support, and Blackboard and PPT of design and using not full, no played multimedia due of effect, led to high school mathematics multimedia teaching middle school students of cognitive load overweight.Finally, the analysis results, summed up the factors that influence cognitive load in multimedia teaching of high school mathematics, and make recommendations for regulation of cognitive load, in order to improve the effect of multimedia teaching in high school mathematics.Hope this study to the teaching of teachers plays a reference function.
