Calisthenics, with its wider generalization and higher participation, has become much popular among teenagers.Aerobics has the Very strong sense of rhythm sense of rhythm sense of rhythm and rhythmical image rhythmical image and correlates dance movement and gymnastics-soma movement together along with dynamic music, which enables the calisthenics lovers to shape graceful figures and simultaneously pleased their bodies as well as spirits. With the strong generalization of calisthenics in Taiyuan, more and more high schools have successfully established representative teams and training teams within schools to compete in the relative competitions. Physical education teaching material in high school has already put Calisthenics into the content. And Calisthenics has been the significant form of physical education in internal and external teachings, which contribute to the students both physically and mentally. Citation index, specialist interview method, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and logical analysis method are used to do the researches, including Research on the situation that Calisthenics in Taiyuan, the common situation of PE teachers, students’ cognition towards Calisthenics, etc. The survey on developmental situation and a conclusion would be helpful on raising advices on aerobics’ popularization and generalization.The conclusions are as follows:1. All 13 reported high schools, owning Calisthenics representative teams, have participated in provincial or municipal Calisthenics matches. It is reportedly that Calisthenics Item has already become popular in high schools of Taiyuan. Calisthenics teaching is mostly included in the schools. It is obvious that the publicity for Calisthenics has already got the first success, which made an initial attention on the setting of Calisthenics Item.2. As for the Calisthenics instructional objective of high schools in Taiyuan, most of them are definite and Conform to our country’s Physical education instructional objective. In the Aspect of choosing teaching materials, Diversification is the obvious feature. Although the self-designed movements are commonly used and lack of scientificalness, high school gym teacher has begun to pay attention on Calisthenics and its holding.3. Cather option of teachers are based on the teaching content, like Calisthenics, lama gym, kickboxing, Instrument Calisthenics and athletics Calisthenics, etc. Therefore it is obvious that the in class teaching of Calisthenics is going to be of diversity. As for teaching method, most of teachers are likely to choose the traditional way while others make decisions to interconnect old teaching method into health club activities. This is a big breakthrough in recent years---the teaching theory is generally transferred to new ones.4. As for the examine Mechanism, teachers mostly tend to examine the whole set movement, physical quality physical quality as well as self-designed movement. On the contrary, the examination for basic theory is relatively rare. In the evaluation method, besides the traditional evaluation method, the PE teachers began to put student’s self-evaluation system and assess each other between students into the approaches. Therefore, it turns out that the PE teachers in Taiyuan city have already put the stress on examine Mechanism and evaluation methods. And a further improvement is called for a more scientific system.5. According to the result of survey, fame teachers are more than male teachers. Furthermore, young teachers are relatively big in number. More and more young teachers are fond of second-level certificate teaching, but unfortunately, they are lack of teaching experience and scientific research ability. In the aspect of education level, teachers who hold undergraduate degrees take the biggest percentage. Partial teachers got postgraduate degree and diploma degree. The average degrees of PE teachers are improving. Basically, teachers are teaching the lessons related to their majors. And according to the Survey the quantity and quality of professional Calisthenics teachers remain improving.6. As for the cognition of teachers, in recent years they have had some understanding towards Calisthenics. Most of them think highly of the organization of Calisthenics class, claiming that Calisthenics have access to bring great influence to campus environment and enrich the school life for students. Part of teachers thought that only the better filed and equipment were provided could Calisthenics be carried out vigorously.7. Middle school students in Taiyuan City have had some understanding on Calisthenics.Few of students know nothing about Calisthenics. Large number of students likes Calisthenics by thinking that Calisthenics has to be done with energy and rhythm. Calisthenics is fit for their ages. Students who have had experience on Calisthenics said that they were getting more confident and outgoing. And in the same time, part of students refused to do Calisthenics sue to their shy characteristics.8. Among all the students who were surveyed, many of them like Calisthenics but have no opportunity to do it. In some schools, there were still no Calisthenics classes.They said that they were willing to join Calisthenics, but a few of them really had interest on Calisthenics.9. If we go to the deepest source of it, we will find that the key reason that Calisthenics was not popular was not enough popularity. Because of the unfamiliar to aerobics’ function, the disagreements from chairman, teachers and parents gave more pressure on the students. It seemed that the reasons were facial, but in fact the cognition towards Calisthenics was far to enough.
