The Study Of Scheduling Sets Of Freestyle Pom Based On 2014 Competition Rul

Cheerleading, originally from the USA, has existed more than 100 years. The International Cheer Union (ICU) has been officially authorized by Sport Accord as the only official cheerleading organization since 2013. That means cheerleading has been gaining access to sorts of comprehensive competitions all of the world as a regular competitive event. ICU is going to be in charge of running all cheerleading competitions and making rules of it. Rules of Cheerleading Contest 2014 was published in China in 2014 which introduced ICU Rules of International Cheerleading Contest. This significant change has brought new trends.Scheduling the complete set is one of the key factors to win a game. The change of research rules is the premise of arranging the excellent routines. In order to improve the overall level of cheerleading in China, understanding the rules and using them in scheduling reasonably is the first-line. At present, there are few literatures of freestyle pom in the perspective of 2014 ICU Rules. Therefore, it is of great significance to study these new rules for improving and developing Chinese cheerleading program.This article uses mathematical statistics method, observation methods, expert interview, video analysis and documentary analysis to study scheduling the whole sets of cheerleading. We draw the following conclusions:1.The scheduling should meet the changes from part to whole, restriction to relative unrestriction, being quantitative to qualitative and following to innovating.2. Although we have got some advantage on scheduling in some way, it still could be improved.3. Based on the rules of cheerleading, choreographers have successfully avoided the forbidden movements, that’s why we haven’t against the rules and lost scores.4. The lack of being creative is one of the biggest problems we should deal with. Stage and visual effect should be paid more attention in scheduling.5. The level of difficulty in scheduling is affected by qualities of the choreographers and their skills. To rise the value of difficulties, increasing the using of higher level of composite movements is necessary when we schedule the sets of movements.
