The Study On Ecological Civilization Education Of Contemporary College Students

Nowadays, the deteriorating ecological environment causes people’s thinking. People realize the importance of seeking harmony between man and nature, and achieving sustainable development. The ecological civilization construction gets advocacy, and rise to the major policies of our country. As the builders and successors to the socialist cause in the future, college students’ ecological civilization consciousness and behavior affect ecological civilization construction and the sustainable development of our society. Therefore, colleges should base on the reality demand, grasp the epochal character of ideological and political education, and take the ecological civilization education of college students as an important part of ideological and political education.Expect the final conclusion; this paper mainly discusses the four different aspects. The first part mainly introduce the aim, significance, main contents, research methods, innovations and the current research review of this study. The second part is the relevant theory about ecological civilization construction and ecological civilization education of college students. It analyzed about the connotation and characteristics of ecological civilization, the necessity, goal and content of ecological civilization construction. It also talks about the connotation of ecological civilization education of college students, the relation between ecological civilization construction and ideological and political education, and the significance of ecological civilization education of college students. The third part analyzed about the present situation through empirical survey, came to the conclusion that it is urgently to strengthen education of ecological civilization of college students. The forth part is based on the results of the empirical survey and the requirement of ecological civilization construction, and talk about how to strengthen the ecological civilization education of college students. The strategy includes four aspects. They are ecological civilization education’s aim, content, principle, and ways.
