With the further development of China’s education and teaching reform, quality education is increasingly valued. The basic idea of quality education is to focus on the students’ sustainable development, and "face the world, face the future". Classroom teaching is the main front of quality education. That is to say, if we want to fully implement the quality education, we must pay special attention to classroom teaching. The emergence and utilization of open classroom teaching is an important way to realize quality education, which can really change the way students learn, and make them get fully development when asking、thinking and solving problems, etc.There are some disadvantages in China’s current high school mathematics teaching, such as we only pay attention to imparting knowledge, while ignoring students’ personality development, and lacking the cultivation of students’ ability of independent thinking and innovation; teaching contents is too difficult and old; students’ enthusiasm to study mathematics generally is not high.Open mathematics teaching adheres to the principle of teaching students according to their aptitude, which respects students’ individual differences and personality development, truly reflects students’ dominant position in the teaching process. Because open teaching plays a unique role in training students’ innovative spirit and practice ability, it has become a hot research problem about middle school mathematics teaching in recent years. Based on open teaching idea, the open mathematics teaching combines with ordinary high school mathematics new curriculum standards and then changes the traditional closed single teaching mode. The aim of adopting open teaching mode to optimize teaching process, transform teachers’ teaching mode and students’ study way, and improve students’ learning efficiency to promote their all-round development.Based on the research of open mathematics teaching’s background at home and abroad, and the outcome of a questionnaire concerning middle school mathematics present situation, this paper has concluded the current problems and disadvantages of middle school mathematics teaching, and described in detail the necessity of introducing open teaching mode to mathematics class in high school.Based on the previous research, the author mainly from:imported subject, problem situation, teaching contents, teaching thoughts and homework five aspects systematically explored the theoretical basis and operating instructions of mathematics open teaching mode in middle school, and came to the following practice conclusions:(1)Open Teaching Mode is to the benefit of cultivate students’ innovation consciousness;(2)Open Teaching Mode is to the benefit of improving students’ ability of independent thinking and problem solving;(3)Open Teaching Mode is to the benefit of promoting collaboration and communication between students;(4)Open Teaching Mode is to the benefit of improving students’ understanding of mathematics essence and strengthening learning interest.Changing the way of middle school mathematics teaching is a long and difficult process, which can only be realized step by step, not just in one action. On the way of education teaching, we have a long way to go.
