National spirit is the spiritual pillar of a country which a country and his nation live on and rely on.The great spiritual strength Chinese national spirit make the Chinese nation go through all the vicissitudes of the long history,and the nation remain exists on the east of the globe.Moreover,this nation will continue to be thriving,prosperous and strong.In November,2012,President Xi put forward the “China Dream” the first time and he proposed that to achieve the “China Dream”,we must carry forward and particularly cultivate the national spirit,also,we should unite the cohesion of Chinese people.This Chinese spirit is the mainstream of the times which contains patriotism,besides reform and innovation.The undergraduates are the constructer and successor of the socialism with Chinese characteristic.The mental state of these undergraduate directly concerns our country’s prospect and fate.The mental state of all the undergraduates in modern China are positive and have a high spirit of patriotism.However,owing to students’ lack of maturity in all aspects and the instability of their ideological system,the undergraduates sometimes are influenced by adverse factors,consequently,some problems are arisen.For instance,the fade of nationalism,the weakness of social responsibility,the absence of arduous struggle.Therefore,we must cultivate the national spirit of undergraduates.It will not only be benefit to the undergraduates’ growth,but also carry forward the Chinese socialist modernization and bring out a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The article is divided into four parts,which mainly illustrate the contemporary undergraduates in the cultivation of national spirit.
