Research On Application Of Interactive Teaching Approach In Senior High English Writing Class

With the development of society, English plays more and more important roles in different fields. Therefore, it is vital to enhance the quality of English teaching in senior class. However,the traditional English teaching process, especially for English writing class, needs to be changed because it just focuses on the passing of knowledge rather than the sharpening of writing ability. As a kind of new and advanced teaching method, interactive learning is widely used to improve the efficiency of English writing class which is regarded as an interactive and communicative way to achieve academic performance in English writing.Based on theoretical foundations, the author gives an introduction to interactive teaching method. Furthermore, the paper applies the teaching approach to English writing class, trying to answer the following three questions:1.What is the present situation concerning English writing?2.How can we build the interactive writing approach in English class?3.Does the interactive writing model benefit English teaching?To prove the effectiveness of interactive teaching for English writing, the author made an experiment in two parallel classes which lasted for five months. Through two questionnaires and tests before and after the experiment, the author collected and analyzed related data and information. Finally, the paper made a summary, showing the importance and significance of applying interactive learning strategy in a senior English writing class. Still, there are some problems unsolved and we need to make a further research to improve and develop the teaching process. However, we should not ignore the benefits of interactive learning used in English writing class and try to employ it in more and more English class teaching.
